2019 WVAEA, Inc. Conference Information

The 2019 annual fall conference will be held September 9-13 at Stonewall Resort, 940 Resort Drive, Roanoke, WV 26447. Conference attendees will register either as commuters or as overnight attendees.  Commuter fees cover registration, WVAEA, Inc. membership, morning and afternoon breaks in conference area and lunch.  Overnight attendee fees cover registration, WVAEA, Inc. membership, lodging, breakfast, breaks, lunch and dinner.     

Important Notes:

• All part-time AND full-time Adult Education instructors will be required to attend WV Adult Education Updates on Monday, September 9 and LINCS CCR Standards training for English Language Arts and Mathematics on Tuesday, September 10 and Wednesday, September 11.
• Additional training options will be offered on the morning of Thursday, September 12 for Adult Education instructors.
• The WVAEA, Inc. Award's Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 11 at 7:15.
• SPOKES instructors, Option Pathway instructors, TASC Peer Trainers, LPN instructors and PST staff will have training sessions all day Thursday (September 12), as well as Friday morning (September 13).

Conference Fees (Overnight Attendees)
Includes lodging, resort fees, breakfast, lunch, dinner, breaks, registration fee, and WVAEA, Inc. membership. For overnight attendees, meals begin with dinner on the day of check-in and end with lunch on the day of departure.​​ All other meals outside of this time frame are the responsibility of the attendee.

Room Reservation Info for 2019 Fall Conference

• Cost of lodging is included in the conference registration fee for those who are onsite attendees.

• WVAEA will be making room reservations for overnight attendees. When registering for the conference, attendees will register as "commuter" or "overnight stay." When choosing overnight stay, a room will be reserved for your based on your registration.
• It is the responsibility of attendees to contact Kari Geary ([email protected]) for room changes or cancellations. Changes cannot be made after August 10, 2019.
